Ben's Wagamama Inspired Dish

I had to make some veggie substitutions, since I didn't have some of what Ben used. I used spinach, pumpkin chunks, and frozen peas. I had no carrots, so those are raw zucchini on the top. Yummy! It was so good. I had this with green tea, and noticed it began snowing. What a perfect dinner to have when it's cold and snowy out!
We hardly get snow here in Seattle, so this is really fun. It's not the fun fluffy East Coast snow (yes, I'm partial), but this will do for now! Britty and I were able to have a snowball fight anyhow, and are hoping that the school will be closed tomorrow! :) *does snow dance*
I snagged these in the front yard tonight. I feel bad that the snow is so wet and heavy that it pulls the tree limbs down so much. Still, it looks pretty.

I'm off for more tea and will try to blog hop without jumping up to make one of your recipes next! lol!

Awww! I feel all warm and fuzzy inside now hehehe. I actually re-made this tonight with K-squash, tofu, kale, baby bok choi and broccoli. I think this is going to become a new favorite of mine; it's amazing comfort food for winter and very Pagano friendly for me.
I love this recipe because you can totally tailor it to whatever you have in the fridge; which you illustrated quite brilliantly.
Love the pics! Take care!
this is the more close i am from the snow, i really aprecciate the photos, as i will love to see the real thing!
I knew I wasn't the only one who wanted to try Ben's recipe! Unfortunately, I don't have any of the ingredients, so it'll have to wait, I'll just drool over your photo instead!
and those nighttime snow shots are so captivating. Wow. I can't believe we haven't had any snow here in upstate NY yet!
What a beautiful dish !
I want some :)
And about that snow LOL it's too funny because it is raining here. Quebec City is known to be a snow city, we usually break records and this year, it is snowing more often elsewhere than here...so far !
We just might make up for it later LOL
Pretty pictures Candi! I immediately thought of you when I saw Ben's post! They're opening up a Wagamama in Boston you lucky girl.
We never get snow in Tucson, unless it's Easter. Yeah it snowed here one Easter! It was so random. I swear it was probably 70 degrees outside then bam it started snowing! That must have been almost 10 years ago. Haven't seen snow since.
Those snow pictures look like postcards! Now I'm trying to picture myself in a snowball fight. Oh, well, I got to wear shorts and sandals yesterday and that's what I prefer!
That dish really does look tasty and easy. Monday nights I get home late, so this may be good night to give it a try.
For all of you who do not get snow, I will get lots of photos this winter out in Boston! I think it's so pretty, and just when I begin getting tired of it - it's spring.
Yes, try the tofu dish! It's really good and like Ben said, you can make substitutions with your favorites (or with whatever you happen to have on hand!)
No more snow today, but it was just hailing. The hail out here can get so big that I worry it will chip the paint on my car! Lol! Today's wasn't golf ball sized, so it was ok. Weird stuff here.
I'm back!! I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to contact origins, and I'm encouraged by their results. I wish they'd get rid of the honey already, but as you said, that will be easy to avoid. I like Origins! (The couple of times of year I can afford it, that is... =)
:) awwww have fun hopping!

It is over 60 degrees here in Shrewsbury. Hardley any frost so far. I believe there is a "Nina" effect here this year. But warm or not it won't last long - so don't forget to pack the ice scraper!!!

I can't wait for snow here on the east coast. I'm so jealous. It has been so unusually warm here this past fall that I fear the snow will never come.
JENNA
pumpkin chunks? How just like you...smile!
mmm, i would have loved some of this soup & tea today -- it snowed here also! your photos are lovely.
That look soooooo good. This I will have to save for when our 'Syracuse' winter offically starts.
Yum yum! The snow looks beautiful! There will be some here soon enough...I don't mind, as this is the only time of year I like it!
I didn't get to see the snow so often, but it looks so beautiful and soft!
It's nice to stay inside, eat a nice soup and look out of the window!
Wow, it has been warmish around here....snow!?
Cool snow pics!! I'm jealous - it's been 60 degrees here in Chicago. Weird that Seattle is getting snow and Chicago is warm!! Wha? You'll be seeing some NE snow soon enough tho'!!!
The pictures are so beautiful. We don't get snow where I live (except on a very rare occasion) so I have to live vicariously through your beautiful photos.
I must add, I love the Martini and Asti myself. Cheers to you.
Wow, snow... That's gorgeous. How I would love some snow.
